Sushi in Bexbach: Maki, Nigiri, Inside-Out & Crunchy Rolls Explained

At Little Osaka Bexbach on Aloys-Nesseler-Platz 10, sushi is made fresh every day – from a small maki roll to a big platter for the whole family. Our menu has many kinds, so here is a short guide to what is what and what to try first.

The types of sushi at a glance

Maki – the classic (8 pieces)

Rice and filling rolled in a sheet of nori seaweed. Perfect to start with or to share. Try Sake Maki with salmon (€5.20), Tekka Maki with tuna and cucumber (€5.50), Tempura Maki with fried prawn (€5.00) – or plant-based: avocado, kappa (cucumber) and oshinko (pickled radish) at €4.90 each.

Nigiri – fish on rice (2 pieces)

A small ball of rice topped with a slice of fish. Besides salmon (€5.50), tuna, eel and prawn (€5.90 each), don't miss our two specials: Osaka Sake – flamed salmon outside, salmon tartare and tobiko inside (€7.90) – and Crazy Tuna with flamed tuna and tuna tartare (€8.90).

Inside-out rolls (8 pieces)

The rice is on the outside, often with sesame or tobiko. Favourites are the Sake I-O with salmon, avocado and cream cheese (€8.40), the Chicken I-O with crispy chicken (€9.90) and the Vegan I-O with mixed vegetables (€7.90).

Crunchy rolls

The roll is deep-fried, so it comes warm and crispy – with salmon, tuna, prawn, chicken or vegetables, 6 pieces from €8.50 or 12 pieces.

Special rolls (8 pieces)

Our eye-catchers: the Tiger Roll wrapped in salmon, the Dragon Roll wrapped in eel and the Osaka Roll coated with prawn (€14.90 each). Feeling adventurous? Order Chef Choice.

Sashimi

Just fish, no rice: salmon (5 pieces, €14.90), tuna (€16.90) or mixed (6 pieces, €18.90).

Sushi sets for two or more

Can't decide? Go for a Sushi Set Combo – every set comes with free miso soup. Combos 1 to 5 (€16–21) come with one miso soup, Combo 6 "Osaka Friendship Deluxe" (€38) with two, and Combos 7 and 8 (€47 and €70) with three – ideal for bigger groups. See every set on our menu.

Tips for your visit

• No fish? Avocado, kappa and oshinko maki, Vegan I-O, Crunchy Vegan and the Avocado Green Roll. Combo 3 "Zen Garden" (€18) brings several vegetable rolls together.
